Credits

Seigneurie is made by one independent developer. It stands on the free work of many others.

Made with

  • Godot Engine 4.7, with its built-in Jolt Physics (MIT licence).
  • Blender 5.2 and the project's own modelling kit, which builds every model from code.

Motion

  • Character motion retargeted from the Quaternius Universal Animation Libraries 1 and 2 (CC0 1.0: public domain; credited here with thanks).

Type

  • Merriweather, by the Merriweather Project Authors (SIL Open Font License 1.1: licence text), for this site's headlines. The site serves a subset of it under another name, "Seigneurie Headline", as the licence asks of a modified version.
  • Cinzel, by the Cinzel Project Authors (SIL Open Font License 1.1: licence text), for titles on this site and in the game.
  • Alegreya Sans, by the Alegreya Sans Project Authors (SIL Open Font License 1.1: licence text), for this site's text.
  • Open Sans, the game's interface text (SIL Open Font License 1.1).

Art

  • The fleur-de-lis is the one on the flag of Québec, from its public-domain vector on Wikimedia Commons.

Sound and music

The game's 27 sound effects and its music are made from recordings that others released under CC0 1.0 (public domain: no credit is required, and they are credited here with thanks). The project's own scripts trim, pitch, layer and balance them. Nothing in them was bought.

Music

Four mixes (calm, warning, assault and dawn) arranged from two loops:

Sound effects

Built from these 18 packs and entries:

Still synthesized

The eight ambience loops (the forest, the lake, the Scarps, the valley's quiet, the Hearth's fire, the forge's ring and the cave) are generated by the project's own scripts, with no outside recording in them.

This list grows with the game: every asset or library from someone else that enters it is credited here.
